About Us

The Grand Valley Woodcarvers Club was established in the spring of 1988 by a small group of enthusiastic carvers dedicated to promoting wood carvings as an art. The club operates under a constitution and regulations carried out under the aegis of a Board of Directors.

We have decided on a partnership with the Owl’s Nest who also was part of the Wood Show to create our own show. This Show will be known as Wood Art in the Cities. It will feature the Canadian National Wildfowl Carving Championship and the Owl’s Nest Carving Competition.
