Making Owl Faces with Mike and Laurie Truehart:
This seminar will demonstrate how to make owl faces. Laurie and Mike have many years experience in the art of carving. Laurie has competed and won in the Canadian National Wildfowl Championship for many years and has won awards at the Worlds.

AIR BRUSHING A TEXTURED DUCK with Lionel Dwyer:
This is a chance to learn skills and techniques from one of the great duck carvers in the world. Lionel will demonstrate how to
airbrush the side pockets of a textured duck.

Free Bird Falconry - Trained Birds of Prey with Julia Staines:
Julia will present her Harris Hawk and Western Red Tail Hawk (tethered, will not be flown). She will share her extensive knowledge of her birds and her relationship with them in her Gull Control business. The hawks are socialized with people, so they will sit nicely for photos!

Anatomy of Flight with Jeff Krete
Jeff will be doing a PowerPoint presentation on his Best in World Interpretive winning carving “Anatomy of Flight”. I will talk about the inspiration, research and a thorough look at the construction of the piece.

Making your own patterns with Tom Baldwin:
Tom will demonstrate on how to create your own patterns. His experience in carving as a master carver will give you insight on how your own patterns will make your art unique.

Paint mixing, painting techniques and application With Bruce Lepper
Bruce will share his expertise in mixing paint and techniques. Bruce is known for his realistic painting of his master carving achievements. You will learn his techniques on how to create the effects of realistic looking birds.
